And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
We love him, because he first loved us.
1 John 5: 14-19
GOD IS LOVE
The first part of Jehovah is:
Je = arm, or arms
The arm (and arms) of the LORD
His arms of LOVE, mercy and grace came to us through JESUS.
Jesus (Jeshua in Hebrew) means SAVIOUR. He is the ARM of the LORD as declared by the prophet Isaiah... and the Psalmists often refer to the LORD's arm.
Mary called young Jeshua (Jesus) as a little toddler to come to her..."come My Saviour"! God's love is greater than even Mary's motherly love for Jesus her human son, and her God and Saviour!
Remember arms have hands and He allowed them to be pierced for us! The Jod is the first Hebrew letter in the spelling of the name of God in Hebrew. It looks like a waving ARM! The symbolism of the letters continues with the Heh and the Vav.
Je-Ho-Vah
Ho = window or windows
The LORD opened the windows of heaven to allow his own Son to come to us to be our Saviour as the Lamb of God. His arms were extended to us through the windows of heaven. He sent his right ARM from heaven to become the son of man, to do the work of redemption on the cross. He shed his blood for the remission and forgiveness of sin for all who have faith in Him. He rose from the dead to return to the Father to prepare a place for us and to be our advocate before the throne. The letter Heh looks like a domain or house. It is used twice in the Hebrew spelling of the name of God. It symbolizes his leaving the Father's house and returning to the Father's house.
Vah = nail or nails
Mankind nailed Jesus to a cruel cross after a mock trial and a total miscarriage of justice. The letter Vav looks like a nail in the Hebrew spelling.
